My friend Ginny called me today. Out of the blue. I hadn't had conversations with her other than by email or Facebook since my wedding last Christmas. And yet she called. It was a super happy and lovely thing. :)
For those of you who know Ginny, she is doing well. She is as busy as ever—teaching elementary and now working on a Masters Degree in Public Administration at BYU. She doesn't exactly know why she thought it would be a good idea to work full time and go to school at the same time, but she certainly is tough enough to do it! She also is glad to be stretching herself with things like economics classes. (Scary!) Way to go, Ginny! She can play the Glad Game with the best of them.
Ginny has always been a great friend. She's seen me through some pretty hard times. Now I need to be better about randomly calling people. It's amazing the difference it can make in a person's day. Thanks for calling, Ginny. :)
