After 21 days, I have definitely found I have so much to be happy about. The stock market may be crazy, people around me may be cranky, but it is the little things that make all the difference.
So to finish it off, I need to talk about last night. I went to an amazing presentation done by a photographer who created an exhibit entitled "Reflections of Christ." It was one of those things that makes me happy in a teary sort of way.
Here is a link to a slideshow we watched while also getting to hear Mark Mabry, the photographer, speak. My favorite photo is the one of Christ and John the Baptist hugging after his baptism. They were cousins after all, and it would have been a very happy moment indeed. So I leave you with that happy thought! :)

I've never heard of the book, but the cover art is gorgeous. I'd love to have it framed in my house!
I was able to see this exhibit too! They actually came to Boise, to BSU, by request of the institute program here. We were able to go and see the exhibit during the week and then on that Sunday, have a fireside with Mark Mabry. I love that image, too, after Jesus' baptism when they embrace-it truly captures the joy they must have felt at that moment. You don't see that very much in other depictions-it brought new perspective to that day.
I also loved the photo of Jesus after the ressurection-where he is turned forward and looking back and you see the nail print in his one hand annd his side profile. (The full-image of the book cover) I would love to have that image in my home. :) Thanks for reminding me of that experience.
I've seen his presentation at a fireside at Bishop Sandstrom's home, amazing!
