Feeling foggy

Two or three times a week we wake up to a lovely morning fog that burns off by about 9:00 AM. The air is so still, and when I first experienced it, I was amazed at the sheer silence that accompanied it.

Today, though, I talk about fog in the sense of my thinking processes. My mind has become little more than mush. This has been a long and arduous week, but I do think I am now coming out of the worst of it and am beginning to see a glimmer of light that signals the end. Good thing, because on this last Tuesday, I thought I might break under the pressure.

Just so you know and so that you can mark your calendars, it is now less than two weeks until my return! O happy day!
