After all the waiting and what sometimes has felt like the neverending question of what I am having, all was revealed today.
The baby did have to tease us one last time before we got the view we needed. This time the foot happened to be up in the crotch. At first my doctor was saying, "I'm not really seeing anything that looks boyish, but then again, the foot is where I really need to be able to see." So he kept exploring and jostled the baby a bit, and after some time, the baby moved, and suddenly my doctor was saying something completely different.
There were definitely some boy parts there. See for yourself. (You may need to click on the picture to really get a better view.)

Thanks to Enoch for marking the photo. Frankly, I am no good at making any sense of an ultrasound. I just smile and nod as my doctor speaks. Whatever he says.
And here is a shout out to my brother-in-law Matt who needed to know that one of the Wilkinson sisters could have a boy first. There you go! There may just be hope for you and Jessica someday. ;)

Wellll... I think Enoch actually is the determining factor in the gender ;) Congratulations! It's so exciting to know.
That's what I like to hear! Congratulations! Matt
What wonderful news! Congrats!!!
Yeah...I'm so glad you were able to find out. Boys are so much fun! Congrats!
Let the name decisions and cute clothing purchases begin.
So happy for you both! And that poor child will be mortified when he is old enough to realize that a picture of his little baby boy parts are floating around in cyberspace...:-)
I'm glad all is well and that you'll finally be able to answer that question when people ask. It's just too bad you won't be able to use all the girl baby stuff Jill was willing to give you. And be prepared to answer the name question because it almost always immediately follows the gender one.
So what's his name? :) I only said that because of Kim's comment. Congrats on the boy!
Congrats! How great for the rest of your kids. They will have an older brother to protect and help them.
