This boy loves the changing table. He can be fussy and upset, but put him on the changing table and his mood suddenly changes to calm, smiley, and even giggly. He's also at his loudest with his many squeals, yells, and glottal scrapes. He kicks up a storm and eagerly awaits having the diaper change. Perhaps he likes the distance between the face above him and his. Maybe he likes the openness. I don't know, but it certainly makes changing his diaper a more pleasant experience.
I will be sad when the day comes that he has outgrown it—and that day is coming far sooner than I would like. I have begun the process of shifting out the 3-6 month clothes and adding in some of the next size. He keeps growing and changing so fast. Tonight while at dinner, Enoch had him on his lap, and shifted him just slightly while Enoch was reaching for a utensil. Suddenly Asher grabbed at the food on Enoch's plate, and Enoch didn't see it coming. We're not used to his quicker hands that have suddenly become so much more active.

Great photo, Em! I love the dark background and how the light has caught his little, funny hair. ;)
He is so sweet!
E doesn't care about our food, only about getting his hand to his mouth... how can his hand be so tasty? eeep
It's fun to see him changing even if it's just through pictures. Too bad I won't get to meet him until May.
