Rock and Roll

Three of my siblings came to town over the weekend. The reason? Other than escaping colder climes for the pleasantness of Arizona this time of year, they were here more specifically for the PF Chang Rock and Roll half marathon. Mark and Jill both ran it. They both also finished in about two hours and were very pleased with their times. Way to go!

Megan, Matt, Jess, and Jill's family went along as spectators to hold signs and cheer the runners. Jill and Mark both have run marathons, so a half marathon was not such a big deal to them, but they appreciated their adoring fans.

Tens of thousands of people participate and come to watch, so Enoch and I stayed away and opted to catch up with the family later that day. We gathered for dinner at Jill's house, hung out and played some Great Dalmuti.
On Saturday, they came to our house for a visit. Uncle Mark got to do the honors of feeding the hungry boy. I'm sure he loved it! He certainly seemed unfazed by the challenge of the boy who like to eat, but is not necessarily the most coordinated at it. hee hee

Great Dalmuti! We love that game. And I've heard that the Rock and Roll marathons are a blast.
