One of the first things I got to do while I was on my recent trip to Utah was go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. Jessica and I went on a windy Wednesday afternoon to walk through and see the lovely architecture. I was grateful that she was willing to go with me, and I hope I helped get her a few perks because I was pregnant and people wanted to give us rides everywhere! It was kind of funny and completely unexpected.
It's a lovely place, and it reminds of how grateful I am for such sacred spaces. The temple has always been close to my heart, and even though there is one only a few miles from where I live, I always enjoy visiting a new one and spending some time contemplating the place of the temple in my life.
