10 weeks old
Don't let this sweet little smile fool you. This girl gives us a run for our money sometimes. I think at this point I can definitely say that she is fussier than Asher ever was. This week she has been particularly fussy in the evenings bringing her dad to the point of complete exasperation a couple of times. Evenings are hard. She's tired, but won't sleep, so everything seems hard to her. I am hoping this phase will pass soon.
We've been working more on tummy time. A friend of mine who is a pediatric occupational therapist recently wrote on her blog about the importance of tummy time, and I was reminded of how now is the time to really work with my girl. My friend had some great tips which have been helpful since Julia doesn't like it like Asher did. We do a couple of minutes here and there throughout the day, and she is definitely getting a little bit better and stronger every day with her skills. She still doesn't like it, but the results make it more than worth it. Maybe by next week we'll be ready for a tummy time photo.
She is a sweetheart even if she is so particular with her likes and dislikes. It must be the red head in her. Don't cross her or the hot headedness will appear in a split second. And that is no exaggeration.
