This is how she spent much of the day--in peaceful slumber. Today was a hard one. She had to go to the pediatrician's office and, of course, they stuck her with something to make the visit worthwhile. She had the PKU test where they stick her heel and then spend the next 5 minutes squeezing blood out onto the little dots for testing purposes. She didn't like it one bit. She cried as hard as she ever has and fought mightily with her legs to be free. The nurse commented on how strong her legs were. No wonder she was knocked out once we were home. She got a great workout!
But she did have some awake time. That is critical for good sleeping at night. She's getting bigger little by little. She's above her birth weight by a couple of ounces. And she's cute as can be. :)
