I'm seeing far more flashes of 2 than I care to think about these days. You definitely have a mind of your own, and if I want you to do something contrary to that, you let me know in no uncertain terms how you feel. Fortunately, your tantrums are short lived, but I hope they don't get much worse, ot I don't think I will like the two year period all that well.

You still aren't talking much at all, but you gesture a lot, and love to shake your head no. I can also tell that you are understanding a lot of what I say and can follow a lot of basic commands, so that's good. But I am still hoping and praying you will find your voice soon. Maybe a new baby sister can serve as a catalyst?

You still have no idea what is ahead in terms of a new sister, but we've been reading a book lately about a new baby that I hope will ease some transition. Your grandma will come to stay while I am in the hospital, and you will be well taken care of, I am sure.
