Wednesday Reflections 9.8.2010

Since you enjoy being your feet so much, but haven't mastered unassisted walking as yet, you have taken to finding your own makeshift walkers all over the house. Here you are with the recycling can in the kitchen. You also move the garbage can around in the same way. It gets you from point A to point B without much trouble and without having to get on those calloused knees of yours. Of course, this also means you like to pull everything out of the recycling bin, so when I grow weary of picking it up, sometimes the can will move to the counter. Sigh...

You have become the master of creating your own games of peek-a-boo. You use your hands, your arms, blankets, walls, anything you can hide behind in hopes of initiating a game with any willing participant. You laugh and laugh and laugh as we "look" for you.

You are becoming quite the "Wrestler" too. You love it when dad gets home and he gets down on the floor with you and rolls you all over the place. You try to do it with mom, but sometimes you don't play fair. You bring out the biting and pulling hair, so mom doesn't like to play so much. Since when did you get so big?
