I was reading this post today, and it's always fun to stop and reflect on the things that I love. I love to cook, to read, to spend time with my family, so many things that I love.
But today I give a shout out to my crazy little two and a half year old who runs, jumps, says more words every day, and who loves to read and play. I love him!
This is the first time we've been able to get him to wear the Elmo costume even though we've had it for quite a while. It was too big and weird to him I guess, but after having some friends over during co-op time, he decided it was okay. The three friends had a grand time.
Ah, I love co-op too. I've spent quite a bit of time over the last month organizing a neighborhood babysitting co-op, and we started it up this week. All told, 11 ladies joined me in the grand adventure of helping all of us to make our lives a little bit easier to navigate while we are home with little ones. I'm hoping it works well. It's nice to think that I can do a grocery trip on my own, schedule a dentist appointment, have a little time to work on my classes without kids around, etc., and I know exactly who to call to help me out. I hope they all feel the same. Love it!
