Now that Enoch has moved into our place, the reality of the impending nuptials is beginning to hit me like never before...not that I am getting cold feet or anything. Yesterday, there was simply this moment of staring the future in the face that caught me a little off-guard and made me forget to breathe for a second or two.
I had gone to the house after school to do some unpacking and organizing in the kitchen. When Enoch came home from work a little after 5, and I was in the house, I think it was a moment of realization for both of us. I looked at him, gave him a kiss, and thought of the significance of the event. This is in some minute fashion what it will be like. Our things, our place, I come home, he comes home, I'm making some dinner (or he will), we eat, we talk... How lovely, yet how surreal to think about in that moment of all moments.
I'll be posting photos soon, so check back!
