Since Julia did turn 1 that meant another trip to the doctor for measurements and more shots. She also got to have some blood drawn this time. They never did that with Asher, but they made it seem like a totally routine thing that they do blood work to test for anemia and such. Okay. The blood work checked out normal, but boy did I hate having to watch them find a vein and extract the blood while she cried the whole time. Yet another reason I would never want to be a pediatric nurse in a doctor's office.
She weighed in at 18 lbs. 7 oz. and was 30 inches long. This makes her long and skinny just like her brother--and totally unlike her parents.
